Another historic building on the square in Lisbon, Ohio just received a face lift.
40 North Park was built in 1837 and was called “The White Church” It was the home for the Methodists until 1848. Following its use as a church, other occupants of the building included Mrs. Lamborn’s Oyster Parlor, a meat market, a clock shop, a florist, and a coffee and tea shop. The picture below, from around 1900, is when it was Sammy King’s Saloon.
The repairs and improvements to the façade will enhance the look for the current owner, Source Gallery - offeror of unique fine art, custom framing, and maker’s crafts and gifts featuring local and regional artists. Source Gallery will be opening summer/fall of 2021.
