The gallery opened in 2022 and specializes in highlighting art produced by local artists. It’s a great place to visit if you’re looking to view locally produced artwork, in a genial setting. In addition, we offer regional and national artists that compliment the curated collection of available artworks.
Source Gallery’s Owner, Mark Hamilton, lives nearby to Lisbon and manages all aspects of the gallery, including curating, custom framing and running the on-site digital Glowforge design studio. Mark is a degreed artist & designer and certified professional picture framer, returning to his passion for art & artisans by creating an art gallery that showcasing the work of local, regional and national talented artists, crafters and makers in the beautifully renovated Greek Revival Western Reserve “White Church” on the Village Square.
Built in 1837 and renovated by the gallery owner in 2020-2021, we have made the historic “White Church” our gallery’s home, nestled in the heart of the Historic District in the charming Village of Lisbon on the northwest corner of the Village Square.
A loving renovation of the building for the owner began in 2020 with amazing period-sensitive architectural design and consultation by Gary Englehart Architect and meticulous tear-off & construction by Adolph Johnson & Son Co. As the layers of years of remodeling and transition to a commercial retail space were pealed-away, secrets of the 1837 original barn-style construction were revealed, turn-of-the-century transom prism glass uncovered and by 2021 a beautifully renovated Greek Revival Western Reserve “White Church” was shining on the Village Square.

We use our expertise and industry knowledge to create a custom frame design that best presents the imagery and is also in harmony with the needs of our client and their interior design/decor.
Maker's Crafts & Gifts: We offer custom digital engraving and laser cutting services as well as unique gifts created by local craftspersons and makers.
